Our image compressor uses the HTML5 Canvas API to re-encode your images at a configurable quality level. This lossy compression removes visual data that is less noticeable to the human eye, resulting in smaller file sizes.

Compress to a Target KB
Target-size mode searches for the highest JPEG quality below your requested maximum. If quality reduction alone is not enough, it progressively reduces the dimensions while preserving the aspect ratio.
Privacy First
Compression runs locally and does not upload the selected image to a SimpleTaskTools endpoint. Inspect downloaded output and use a controlled browser profile for sensitive material.
