Inspect public DNS records for a domain.

How to use it

Enter a hostname and select a record type such as A, MX or TXT. Compare the answer and TTL.

Worked example

For example.com with type A, a successful lookup shows IPv4 record values. Addresses and TTLs change, so no fixed live value is promised.

Limitations and checks

A single resolver does not prove worldwide propagation. Cached answers and split-horizon private DNS can differ.

How your data is processed

The lookup sends the domain, IP or URL to a SimpleTaskTools API and the external service needed for the lookup. Results reflect that service’s network vantage point. Do not submit private URLs, credentials or tokens.
